Meeting Times - Start: 7.00 pm - End: 8.55 pm

1. January Through May Birthday Celebration
   
   We will celebrate at Bennigan’s on Rockville Pike on August 25th, and we will meet up at 6:30 p.m. The following members have birthdays January through May: Eric, John W., John V, Steven D, and Mark.



2. September Birthdays
   
   We will celebrate the September birthdays at Hooter’s on Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland on September 15th at 7:00 p.m. The following members have birthdays in September: Daria, Jill, and Walter.



3. Fun Bunch’s 8th Anniversary Event
   
   The actual anniversary of the Fun Bunch is on September 21st. We will make this year’s anniversary trip be to Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. This year’s trip will take place on Sunday September 30th, 2007. We will leave around 10:30 a.m.



4. October Activities
   
   We will commemorate the second part of the Fun Bunch’s 8th anniversary with a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to see the battlefield and to also do a ghost walk. This trip will take place on October 13th. Time of departure is still to be determined. The other activity that was planned was to have a Halloween party (with cake, punch, and candy being served) on Halloween night, Wednesday October 31st, 2007.



5. Planning Meetings
   
   We had a discussion on this matter, and the group agreed that they would like to try and start having planning meetings in September. The first planning meeting will be on Friday night September 21st at 7:00 p.m. Planning meetings will be where we either order pizzas or have a cookout and plan new activities. The theory behind this is so at the regular Fun Bunch meetings, we will not have to worry about planning new activities during the first hour of the regular Fun Bunch meetings; rather we can actually talk about topics the first hour.



6. Fun Bunch Officers
   
   The group was asked if they wanted to have officers and the consensus seemed to be “yes”. As of now, the positions are preliminary and will be discussed further at either September’s or October’s meeting. Anyway, here is a list of the positions that we discussed at the meeting:

7. Dr. Jessie
   
   Dr. Jessie and the group discussed topic regarding Dan to come before the Fun Bunch and to have his “say”. The group agreed that we should invite Dan to come have his “say” at the second hour of the meeting on Wednesday October 10th; at the Davis Library.



8. Next Meeting
   
   The group was notified that we do not have use of the Davis library in September and that we needed to choose a date to have the next meeting. The group decided on September 5th as the date to have the next meeting. The meeting will take place at Mark’s apartment. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
