Members Present: Natalie Van R, Nathalie B-I, Eric, John V, Mark

Meeting Times - Start: 6.50 pm - End: 7.48 pm

1. Dr. Jessie
   Dr. Jessie e-mailed Mark and indicated that she was sick and was going to her doctor, and would not be at the meeting.



2. Website Photo
   Judy Lantz requested that we, the Fun Bunch, put a group picture of the Fun Bunch on the LDAMC website, yes there is going to be a new and improved LDAMC website as of 9/1/08, and Mark thought that we should do the same for the Fun Bunch website. Mark needs to get the “OK” from the following people: Nathalie, Eric, Lorin, Walter, Steven, Tracy, and John Vere. So far, the following people have given their “OK” for posting a public photo: Mark, John V, Nathalie B-I, Lorin, and Eric. That leaves only Walter, Tracy, and Steven to give their answer.



3. August Birthday Celebration
   We are still scheduled to go to the Macaroni Grill at the RIO in Gaithersburg, Maryland on August 23rd at 6:00 P.M.



4. September Fun Bunch meeting
   The September 17th Fun Bunch meeting will take place at Nathalie’s condo’s community room. Do not forget that we will have free parking at Nathalie’s condo’s parking area.



5. September Birthday Celebration
   The birthdays include Walter, Daria, Jill, and Cathy. Where and when would those members like to celebrate the September birthdays??? Since none of the birthday people were at the meeting, we will plan this event either through emails or at the next meeting.



6. Fun Bunch’s 9th Anniversary
   The members present at the meeting discussed this and agreed that it seemed too expensive to do the Medeival Times in Hanover, Maryland. So, we decided that we would go to Dave N’ Buster’s at White Flint mall on September 21st at 1:00 p.m.



7. October Fun Bunch meeting
   Will take place on October 15th at Nathalie’s condo’s community room.



8. Halloween Party
   Since there so few members present, we decided that we would discuss at the September meeting.



9. December Holiday Party
   Nathalie’s father has told me that Nathalie’s condo’s community room is already booked on December 13th. After a discussion, it was decided that we would attempt to keep the same date, but to host the party at either Mark’s condo’s community room OR at Eric’s condo’s community room. Eric told us that his community room would most likely hold more people than Mark’s community room. Eric aned Mark will check on the availability of the rooms for December 13th. The members present decided that we should invite family members to this year’s holiday party.



10. Valentine’s Dance Party Update
    Mark spoke with Daria on the phone, and Daria states that this event has been put on hold, indefinitely. Perhaps in mid to late 2009. Mark announced that, thanks to Nathalie’s father, we the Fun Bunch have use of Nathalie’s apartment’s community room on February 14th, 2009. The group thought we could do a Valentine’s party for Fun Bunch on either that day or night. Will discuss this more in detail at future meetings.



11. ClipBoards
    Mark noted that one of the issues facing us the last time we had a meeting at Nathalie’s apartment’s community room, was the fact that members had nothing to write on. With this in mind, Judy suggested that we buy clipboards so that way people have something to write on. The following people were OK with getting clipboards: John Vere, and Natalie V.R. the following members were not OK with clipboards: Nathalie B.I. The following members were neutral on the issue of clipboards: Eric, and Mark. The members who were not present at the meeting need to give their input on this matter.

13. Next Meeting
    September 17th at 6:45 p.m. at the Strathmore Court Apartments located on Marinelli Road. Opposite the White Flint Metro Station parking garage. The meeting will be in the community room
