- Mike Burke
As all of you know, Mike Burke passed away on March 10th. He suffered a massive stroke and was placed on life support, and then was taken off of life support on the night of March 10th. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Michael’s family, to Cathy, and to Bob Johnson. This meeting is being offered as a means of Fun Bunch members expressing their thoughts on Mike Burke. The meeting also looked into ways that we feel that we might be able to help Mike’s widow, Cathy through this terribly difficult time. Here are some notes on what was discussed during the meeting:
- Valentine’s Party
This topic came up during the second hour of the meeting. The group felt disappointed that there was not enough food at the start of the party, the group also felt disappointed that there were members who were very late. The group also felt that perhaps the time has come to maybe have elections for Fun Bunch positions.
- Next Meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday April 15th at the Strathmore Court Apartment Community Room. The meeting ended up getting switched to April 22nd due to the Montgomery County LDA program on April 15th.
