Members Present: Mark, Cathy, Bob, Eric, Carla, Lorin, Coco

1. Elections & Positions:
   Since there were quite a few regular members absent from the meeting, the decision was made to postpone the elections until the July meeting (July 15th). Mark informed the group that Daria would still like to be Vice-President; so that means that Lorin, Daria, and Stephen all would like to be Vice-President.



2. Donation In Memory Of Mike:
   Once again, not many members had money even though an e-mail was sent out indicating that we would be collecting money. So far the only members who actually gave money was Carla ($25) and Coco ($20). Mark indicated that he would be willing to give $20; Eric indicated that he would be willing to give $10. Cathy indicated that she would give money at a later time. The final deadline for giving money towards the donation to the Maryland School For The Deaf will be at the July 15th meeting. Make sure that you remember to either bring your money to the next meeting OR send a check. For information, contact Mark.



3. Mentoring:
   At the last meeting it was mentioned that some Fun Bunch members would not mind being mentored in terms of each individuals careers. Susan Healy has found an individual, August Spector, that runs some sort of CHADD workplace discussion group where each individual talks about his/her career and his/her ambitions. August Spector also spoke at the LDAMC workshop in January. It is from my understanding that each individual will receive some sort of mentoring; however each individual is responsible for his/her research. It was also mentioned that August Spector would like to meet with Fun Bunch members in either late June or early July to discuss the possibility of Fun Bunch members getting mentored and whether or not August Spector will start up a new workplace discussion group for the Fun Bunch. Stay tuned for details. The Fun BunchÆs first priority for meeting with August Spector is at the next Fun Bunch meeting (July 15th) The second option is to meet August Spector the week of June 22 through June26 The last option to meet August Spector is the week following July 4th.



4. Movie Nights with LAB school night students:
   Coco and the group discussed this matter, and before we can actually begin to have movie nights with the LAB school, we need to contact Peg OÆDonnell and arrange to have at least one and perhaps two social nights to meet the LAB school students. Once we have done that, then we can start to plan movie nights with the LAB school students. This will also act as a way to promote the FUN BUNCH and also as a means to perhaps gain some new members.



5. Eric's Father's Lake House:
   Eric told the group that he would like to have the Fun Bunch down to his fatherÆs lake house on the weekend of September 12th. The lake house is in Virginia and I think that the LakeÆs name is Lake Anna. More details to follow.



6. Other Summer Activities:
   We have a list of summer activities that the group members would like to do. This list includes going to the National Zoo, going roller skating, going to see some movie theatre movies, going putt-putt golfing, going horseback riding, having a pool party, cookout, and going to dinner at a restaurant in Friendship Heights.



7. Cook-Out:
   The group discussed this and we might do a cookout on July 11th, if we can find someplace nice to do a cookout. More Details to follow.



8. Putt-Putt Golf:
   The group discussed this and we agreed that we would go putt-putt golfing at the Summit Hall Farm Park putt-putt golf course (By Gaithersburg high school) on Saturday July 18th at 5:00 p.m.



9. Fun Bunch 10th Anniversary:
   The actual anniversary will be on Monday September 21st. Although we do not have to celebrate on the actual day itself. After some discussion the date that so far has been popular is Saturday September 19th. We still have not chosen an activity for the 10th anniversary yet. However, some choices for an activity include a pool party, a cookout, dinner theatre, a murder mystery dinner, going to Kings Dominion, and to have a party.



10. Next Meeting:
    The next meeting is scheduled for July 15th at 6:30 p.m. at the 5440 Marinelli Road Rockville, Maryland at the Strathmore Court Apartment Community Room. Hope to see you there!
